Railway Project

We were very taken by the children and families living along the railway lands. Habitat Khorat has organized a training program, and helped this group buy the tooks necessary to build their own houses, one brick at a time. Each home needs approximately 9 000 bricks that they mix and press by hand. Many of the children here are orphans that are HIV positive, and are being raised by the mission also on the site. We bought bricks from them for one of the projects in Banfai that we are working on.

Hey David and Jennifer, LOVE the picture of you both on the elephant! You'll want to get that one framed! How many children will be coming home with you I wonder....?! Must have made your hearts ache. But you are part of the solution, building bricks and homes one at a time. Jacob and Ben are fine but beginning to climb the walls! Look forward to seeing more photos when you return! :) Jennifer Moses

Hi Jennifer and David,
We love getting to see the photos of where you are and are so proud of you all for the work you are doing in Thailand. The photo of the children pulls at my heart and it would be so hard to leave them. Seeing all those little faces must make you want to bring them all home.
Take care of each other and we look forward to hearing about your adventure when you get home.
Love
Kim and Brian
